I need some feedback on a pair of shoes I am thinking about buying. You should know that I will not necessarily listen to you, but I will at least consider any opinions offered.

I don't really care for shopping and I don't usually get all squealy and excited over shoes, but I found these online and I think I might be a little excited.

These would be for work. Too clunky? Too librarian? Or are they really cute, like I'm thinking they are? Help. I'm wondering if this is like the time in 6th grade when I thought it would be cool to wear my Barbie's wrap-around stole on my side ponytail.

I think they are super cute and am very jealous. I want cute black shoes, too!

i want pictures of the wrap-around stole ;)

i like 'em. i probably wouldn't get them for myself because i'm unused to heels (higher than 2 inches anyway). but i think they're adorable.

I actually have a pair similar to them, except the heels are thinner, more ponytail shaped (curved).

Oh Lord, I hope there are no pictures of that major accessory mistake!

I remember thinking that no one would know what it really was. Within 1 minute of being at the bus stop, my friend squinted at my head and said, "Isn't that part of a Barbie dress?"

I think they're super cute...not that my opinion matters since you've already ordered them. I think they look librarian-ish but in a very cute way. If I wore heels I would order some for myself.

And I'm sure your barbie look would have caught on if you had worn it longer than a day!

Thanks, all! I can wear them with confidence. :)

I was painting one of our bathrooms last night and thinking, "Hey! I should ask the internet what it thinks about this color!"

Pretty soon I won't be able to get dressed in the morning without consulting all of you. ;)

Bearette- let me know what you think! I will be making your minestrone on Sunday.

Looks like you've already ordered them, so my opinion is moot, but I agree that the shoes, they are HOTT but also practical and therefore should be purchased.

Will you model them for us once they arrive?

hehe ;) we are available for free consultation at any time.

Loved the squash. I especially liked how the squash and red peppers created their own juices so the small amount of oil was ok. Just wondering, since the ones on top got slightly you usually cover the casserole when it's cooking?

Hmmm...I've never had a problem with the top burning. Sure, maybe you could try the foil and then take it off for the last bit.
